Contextual detection
It goes beyond a word list to analyse intent, target and the context of use.
Text, reviews, messages and call transcripts are split into risk categories. The system does not only catch rude words; it also weighs context, who is being targeted, severity and repetition.

It goes beyond a word list to analyse intent, target and the context of use.
Content is separated into warning, hiding, agent review and automatic blocking levels.
Different tolerance rules are defined for forums, live chat, social media or in-game chat.
A message or review is analysed over the API before or after publication.
Category, severity, target and the suggested action are determined.

The content moderation service is an API that detects profanity, insults, threats, harassment and toxic language in user content such as comments, messages and transcripts in real time, and returns a risk level.
A word list cannot see context; “this product is awful” and a targeted insult may fall into the same list. The service evaluates intent, target and severity, which reduces both false alarms and missed content.
Content is routed by risk level to a warning, hiding, agent review or automatic blocking; a different tolerance rule can be set for each channel.
